Electronic Review (Desktop)

What it is: A built-in workflow screen that tracks the preparation and review status of every working paper and document in a client file, allowing managers and partners to sign off work electronically.

What it's for

Electronic Review replaces paper-based sign-off sheets. It gives the engagement team a single place to see what has been prepared, what is outstanding, what has been flagged as an exception, and what is not applicable — enabling managers and partners to approve work at each level without printing anything.

How to do it

Open Electronic Review

  1. Navigate to Client Setup and select Electronic Review.

Filter the list

  1. Use the filter options at the top of the screen to narrow the view by status, team member, or category.

Mark an item

  1. Select the relevant cell under the N (Not Applicable), X (Exception), or L (Locked) column to mark a working paper or document accordingly.

Assign work to a team member

  1. Under Assigned To, use the drop-down to assign the relevant section to a specific team member.

Set review status

  1. Under the Prepared, Reviewed, or Partner Reviewed columns, select the appropriate status for each item.

Note: Marking an item as Reviewed requires the Manager Password. Marking it as Partner Reviewed requires the Partner Password.
